Social but Safe: things you can't leave behind

As the lockdown regulations ease, more and more people are attempting to return back to “regular” life. But, we are still living through a pandemic. And more so, just because we’re over it, doesn’t mean it’s over.

Lockdown Level 3 allows for eating out at restaurants and recently, the sale of alcohol. With more and more opportunities to socialize being legal again, of course, many people are taking full advantage however one thing is still very clear, no mask no entry anywhere.

There are a few things you can’t leave behind during this time and things that you really should have on you regardless of whether you will have access to them in stores. Here is a list of things you can’t leave behind when leaving the house:

A Face Mask

Masks have become an essential part of our lives so it’s best you get creative with them. The fact is wearing a face mask decreases the infection rate by 70% so wearing a mask is really non-negotiable and should be a no-brainer. Many brands have gotten to work with producing branded masks to go with your outfits but clinical masks serve the best protection. Either way, don’t even think of leaving the house without it.

Sanitizer

Apart from its many uses, MPL Rubbing Alcohol is also a disinfectant that you can use to rid your hands, phone, and other small objects you carry in your bag of germs. Formulated with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol, Rubbing Alcohol is strong enough to kill unwanted germs and safe enough for daily use.

Common Sense

COVID-19 has called for changes in our social behaviour. We are asked to touchless things, spend less time in public spaces, and most notably, physically distance ourselves from one another when in social settings. Social distancing isn’t only a safety measure, it’s a sensible precaution. As we continue to navigate this virus, it’s important to take heed to all the new social norms. It’s our job to stay sensible and cautious.

We don’t know what the world will look like in the next 12 months, all we know is, right now, things have changed. You need to change your behaviour to fit the time so that you can live to see a better time unfold. Make sure you never leave these three things and most importantly, make sure you stay safe.

Love MPL!
