How should you use it? Well, below is a lovely step-by-step guide to introducing castor oil to your hair and scalp:
Section your hair into 4 parts.
Apply the castor oil to your scalp using your fingers. Massage the oil into your scalp.
Apply castor oil to the rest of your hair by running your hand up toward the tips of your hair. You can also use a comb to ensure even coverage.
Once applied, put on a shower cap and make sure all hair is tucked in.
Clean up any oil drippings with a towel.
Leave the shower cap on for at least two hours to give the oil enough time to penetrate the scalp, hair follicles and hair shaft.
After two hours, wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.
